i am a big time noob :( and i just installed RH7.3 w/ KDE and GNOMEand got enlightenment installed

how do i add enlightenment to the KDE Login Manager?
I tried adding it to Kcontrol>Sysyem>login Manager>Session but if i click on it in the login Manager it goes into kde?

[/edit] nevermind, i went back to Kcontrol and typed "enlightenment" and it works, i think i mispelled it the first time

It's possible, you have to fiddle with it for a while, first we need to know which of the following managers you are using, gdm or kdm?

my bad I see you are using kdm, ok, I'll be back with a set of commands and files you'll need to edit

OK, go to control center->system->login manager, click on modify, enter root password when prompted, go to Sessions tab New Type enter enlightenment click add button, Apply., button, exit from KDEc(or whatever desktop environment/window manager you are using), you'll be presented with KDE login, from pulldown menu choose enlightenment, enter user name and pass and you should be able to login to E.
Hope it works for you.

I don't think RH 7.3 did either, I don't remember seeing it as an option when I installed 7.3
