enhanced ctorrent on iphone

I have recently unjailed my iphone 3gs and have downloaded bit torrent clients but to my disapointment i can download the .torrent but when i go to download from peers it does not connect due to lack of updates for the newer ios. (mine is 5.1.0)
So with no updates on the horizon but enhanced ctorrent installed, along with a terminal installed on iphone, i'm still hopeful to be able to download file through bittorrent. I have read the manual and , at least, i thought i followed the instructions, but still have had no luck.

Does any body know if it can be done? And if so please Help.

I have no iPHONE, but I have some doubts. Perhaps another forum would be better for you?
