enbaling ident for irc conn!!

hello guys
i've a problem here im runnin redhat interprise 4 on server for hosting now i need to run bnc its done and when i conn to dalnet i got killed no ident response ,, any one can help how to install and enable ident,,

well, theres realy nothing special to it. Im sure RH provides official packages for the identd, it works almost out of the box aslong as you let port 113 thru. Do note that having identd open to the whole world isnt too smart a thing to do, so I recomend either limiting access to the port only for DALnet or using the fake ident option of many popular irc clients. (not all have this but most)
