Unhappy Enabling RPC and NFS in Linux and Solaris

How does a newbie enable RPC and NFS on redhat 9 and solaris 8????

On RedHat, open the services manager in your menu and enable services that you want. Good luck on Solaris, I don't know... Maybe it's in /etc/rc.d
