Enable maximum logging on RHEL5

Hi,
I am trying to enable the maximum possible logging on a RHEL5.
I am not sure how the logging works on linux and how to set the log levels.
I just found the possible loglevels, and I want to set the level for the whole system to 0 (Debugging).
How can i do this?

Thank you!
Matthias

syslog is what you're after. Look at /etc/syslog.conf and read up on how it works.
