Empty Trash Bin Option

I am using Slackware 14.1, with the KDE desktop environment.

How do I add the option "Empty Trash Bin" to the trash bin icon that is shown in the command line at the bottom of the screen? If I right-click the icon I only see options "Trashcan Settings" (which does not offer what I want!) and "Unlock Widgets".

I currently empty the trash bin by left-clicking on it and using Konqueror.

Can you not simply drag the icon down to the panel?

Sorry, I did not explain this issue correctly!
The trash can icon is already showing up in the bottom panel. But if I right-click on it, there is no option for emptying it.

Yeah, the widget is just a means to opening the trash folder via Dolphin. From there the wastebin can be emptied. I agree that it would be a nice feature though. :)
