LinuxQuestions.org - empty cd key not allowed on this server when I am trying to join a ET server

I finally got my 64 bit Arch Linux up and running and also the Video driver installed properly ( also my oss4 sound driver :) ) now I installed a fresh copy of Enemy territory but no matter which server I join I get a empty cd key not allowed on this server so I did a google search and found this

Players who are getting "Empty CDKey" messages trying to connect to PunkBuster ET Servers may attempt a manual CDKey registration.

Press the tilde key (the ~ key) to bring down the game console from any game screen and enter the following command (without quotes): "/pb_cdkeyreg".

You should see a message stating that a Registration Request was sent to the GuidAuth Master Server. After a few seconds (perhaps up to 30 seconds) you should see a message stating that the CDKey Registration was successful. After that, there should be no more messages about an Empty CDKey when trying to join a PB Server.

but after I do that I get another error message "failed to resolve etguid.evenbalance. " so I deleted the pb folder in both /etc/user/.etwolf and in /opt/ /opt/enemy-territory then created a pb folder in /etc/user/.etwolf and in /opt/ /opt/enemy-territory . updated pb but still get the same problem not sure of how to fix this does anyone know how?
