Embedded Firmware - DSL Modem
 

Hi

I'm trying to install drivers for my dsl speedtouch modem by alcatel. I downloaded some "embedded firmware" from speedtouchdsl.com for my modem...it came in a zip file which contained two files with extensions .012. I'm unsure of what to do with these. I'd appreciate some guidance. Thanks.

This doesn't quite appear to be a linux related
question, and I'd certainly hope that Alcatel not
only provide you with firmware on their website,
but also with instructions on how to install it.

Their website is a bit confusing - they give a download and with it comes no instructions and there is no obvious links to instructions either. However I did find a how-to file but it's specific to debian users and it doesn't seem to be helpful to me...
