It took me 10 seconds to find a solution by googling. Next time why not try that yourself?
1. Export from Windows Mail to T-Bird on Vista. Here's how. 2. Import the T-Bird mail from Vista to Linux. 3. That's it. ;) jdk |
Desdd57,
It will be really helpful if you modify the thread title as "Transferring mails from WindowsMail to Thunderbird". Other people looking for the solution will be able to search for the thread then. |

Windows mail stores the messages as .EML files. You can use the ImportExportTools extension to import .EML files. It lets you select multiple .EML files at the same time.
Download the ImportExportTools extension by right clicking on the link and choosing Save target as. Now on Thunderbird, go to Tools -> Add-ons (or Extensions) and click Install. Pick the xpi file you downloaded and follow the instructions. Restart Thunderbird. |
