Email Server Help
 

I am fairly new to Linux. I currently have a gaming web site hosted on Mandrake 9.0 at my house and would like to add email. I am confused as to exactly how to go about this. Would someone out there be willing to walk me through the setup or even point me to a good tutorial. :study:

You need an MTA such as sendmail, qmail, or exim. A lot of people think that sendmail is too hard to configure, and prefer exim. No matter which MTA you use, they are generally quite difficult to configure securely, and easily. It depends a lot on exactly what you want to do.

There are some MTAs in your distribution. They have basic configuration, so it's easier to configure them. Postfix and sendmail should be on your cds.
