email server for sedning emails
my java deployed in tomcat needs an smtp server.
for which I am thinking of postfix , is this good for sedning emails out, I need only to send emails , i tried yum install postfix and it did install , where will I get the mail server name ?(whihc I should use as mail host in my java app ), while installing it did not ask any details.
I saw the config file /etc/postfix/main.cf.
I just need simple setting so that my app can send email out. Please advice me further.
