Email authentication problem

I'm renting a self-managed linux server and everything seems to be working fine with one exception: email from any of the domains on the server does not authenticate.

This results in email either being delivered to the recipient's spam folder, or not being delivered at all.

I'm not looking to get this problem solved on this forum - it could require extensive question-and-answer routines that might drag on for months! I just wondered if anyone could recommend (or is) a linux expert/guru/sysadmin who would be prepared to sort out this problem on a one-off basis.

(Needless to say, I expect to pay for this service.)

Did you check email logs under /var/log/mail & find anything informative? Also specify what application you're using to send/recive emails? You can also ask that system to allow mails, that are coming from your server, though their spam filters.

Can you let us know what distro/version so we can give better advice
Also, which mailserver eg sendmail, postfix etc?
