emacs key bindings - delete word forward ALT+SHIFT+D
I use key binding for emacs in my bash shell.
As we all know there is a two alt keys on either side of the space bar.
If i want to hit CTRL -A to go to the beginning of the command line i can use either the right or the left CTRL key
If i want to CTRL -d to delete one character, i can user either CTRL key on either side to delete one character
However - if i want to delete one work forward with SHIFT+ALT+D i can only use the SHIFT+ALT on the left side (the same side as the D)
If I use the SHIFT+ALT+D on the right side, i get DDD printed out on the command line - it does not delte one word forward.
Has anyone ever heard of that?
It would be better to use the ALT+SHIFT+D on the right side , instead of the left side.
Is there a way to enable the ALT+SHIFT+D on the right side of the key board for EMACS key bindings?
