This shows up when I type "startx". Winlinux2001 and Xfre86 4.0.3. I obtain no XWindow. Can somebody help?

Try doing xf86config and setting all the values for your hardware.

Ok, have a look in /var/log/XFree86.0.log for a more informative error message and post it here.

Bern told me change in the configuration file "nv" for "nvidia". :D Did that and now works. Thanks!
