editor scanner result
 

My scanner result can be save *.jpg and *.tiff extension.

how to edit this scanner result. I use Gimps program but can't. what is the suitable program so I can edit my document as my willing.

Do you get some kind of an error message when you try to open the files? I you are not sure, try starting the Gimp from the command line, and see if a message is displayed. Are those files ( .jpg and .tiff ) owned by your user? Do a ls -l filename.jpg to find out.

The Gimp will edit those files.
