Edit in shell with mandrake 10.1


How do you edit files within the prompt screen in mandrake? i tried nano but it doesn't work?

You could use vi:
vi /path/to/file

If you feel that vi is a bit hard to be used, try with gedit, it is more friendly.

Doesn't run very well in console to the best of my knowledge ... ?
