Unhappy Ecommerce, auto-subscribe

I have a web site that accepts paid subscriptions, however, there is no feature currently to auto-upgrade the customer when they pay.

There is a cron job that counts the subscription days down, but no auto--subscribe feature once the payment goes through. I have to go in and manually change the status of the customer.

Any suggestions?

All we have is some php script written which doesn't work to add days to the account. We have cron job counting down, but we don't have any php that takes the info sent back from paypal when the customer pays and translates it into days.

We need to know what subscription software exists, really.
