easy linking question


My cdrom is located @ /misc/d but when i try to install progs from cd it gives me a "/mnt/cdrom error" can i createa link so when i try to install software /mnt/cdrom will open /misc/d?? and what would the command be? thanks for your help

And what do you mean when you say it's
"located" there?

try
ln -s /misc/d /mnt/cdrom
