Easy File Transfer to CDRW/DVDRW
Recently, I made the switch to linux and for almost 2 months have been having a great experience with using linux. I picked SUSE and while everyone might not like it, I do. But, I am sorted stumped as to how to do the same thing that I did in Win in Linux (maybe I can't). Out of the 3 machines I have 1 runs Linux, 1 runs Win, and 1 well...its very very old - I use the Linux machine 99.9% of the time. In Win when I wanted to copy a file to my cdrw or dvdrw, I just basically just copied it. Guess what, it doesn't work in Linux. Basically "could not write to /media/file" after right clicking mouse and selecting "Copy to". I use the same DVD burner I had in Win. I have experimented with k3b, but being new I must not be doing something right because it seems to save the files as though they were an iso image - like the SUSE iso image I burned after downloading it on the Win Machine. Any ideas or pointers - like a setting I am missing in k3b?
