Exclamation e2fsck causes kernel error

Hi,
normal booting error hints - use e2fsck using superblock data.
so i unmounted the drive /dev/hda6 and used mke2fs to find the
backup superblocks. i then used it alongwith e2fsck, it initially works
fine but later the whole kernel crashes.
please help.

thanks

Same thing here..

It boots into root console with the usual bad superblock error.

I made a bootdisk and ran e2fsck -v /dev/hdg1

It starts fine, then this happens:

or this:

Looks bad, can anything be done?
