DWL-520 help.. Im a REAL newbie!~ thanx!

From searching your forums here I have got a great start on my problem but I think Ive gone as far as I can alone.

I just built a dual processer machine from scratch, 1gb mem, 200 gb hd, tyan mpx, 2 mp 2800+ chips, santa cruz sound card, It is a dual boot system with xp prof. (which im good at) and Linux fedora 2.6..5-1

I was able to install a sound card driver on my linux fedora 2.6 .5-1

But now im trying to get my dwl-520 wireless card to work

I have the "red hat Fedora linux 2 all in one for DUMMIES" book for 39 $ but it doesnt really cover instaling drivers..

I was able to determine these were the files I needed
hostap-driver-0.2.4.tar.gz
hostap-utils-0.2.4.tar.gz
hostapd-0.2.4.tar.gz
wpa_supplicant-0.2.4.tar.gz

I fount these at URL IM NOT ALLOWED TO POST
I got the wireless tools version 27 from here... URL IM NOT ALLOWED TO POST

Ive unzipped and created a directory that is in
host/wireless/(all the folders I unzipped)

this doesnt sound like much to you guys I know.. but im proud of how far I am so far.. This is ALL so new

but from here I have to admit im screwed.. the sound card was way easy compared to this.. Im 2 weeks new to linux , I love IT!!! but im just lost atm.

any help Id love.

thanx!!
