dvdrw software
 

I didn't know whether this question should be placed in the Newbie or Software section. I am a newbie running Slackware 10.2 on an older Dell machine.

I was hoping someone could suggest an easy program that I can use to burn data/music/copy dvd's.

Also, here's a look at my fstab:

Try k3b. Is your dvdrw correctly configured?

K3B is the dogs danglies for burning. Give it a shot, once installed it'll tell you what packages you need (specificaly dvd-RW tools).

As for copying DVDs, you mean data ones? or the coded movie ones they don't like you to copy? :) you can check out k9Copy

As far as the types of media I'd like to burn on the DVD's, I'd like to be able to burn anything onto them. Movies and so forth, but for now, I'd like to just get it working for data and so forth.

Another vote for k3b or, if you use Gnome, gnomebaker is pretty good.
