dvd player for suse 9.2?

Hi I am very new to linux, just installed suse 9.2 64bit on my dell dimension 2400 and noticed the lack of a dvd player. Anyway after following a url from kaffiene media player I read that there is no legal dvd player for any linux distrobution. Can someone suggest a player to me and how to install it, bear in mind I know next to nothing and am totally intimidated, so if possible links to rpms would be good since I doubt I'd get it going otherwise.

Not sure if it is relevant but the players I have are kaffiene 0.4.3b and totem 0.99.9

thanks

Kaffeine is just a front end for xine. Both xine and mplayer (and others but I use these two)
can play DVDs. The version of xine that comes with suse is crippled however. You need
to first uninstall it with yast. Then it's up to you how you want to install the new version.

I would suggest you check out http://packman.links2linux.org/

You could add that site to your sources list in yast or just download the files you need.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: For xine you also need to get libdvdcss for DVD playback. It's at the site above.
