dvd not seeing files

I'm trying to load drivers for a wireless card. I'm using the linuxant wrapper. For some odd reason I cannot see any files on the dvd-rom. Has anyone come across this and what is the possible solution.

please provide "ls" output of the dvd mount directory, and matching "mount" output to show that the drive is indeed mounted.
