Question duplicate mount names

One of our DBA's recently noticed that there is a duplicate mount points. Being new to linux, I know I'm guessing I have to dismount, rename and mount again?
Can someone please confirm these steps for me.
Thanks.

I hate to quibble, but what you have is two devices mounted to the SAME mountpoint---it is interesting to note that this is perfectly legal (but probably not what you want... ) If I am not mistaken, what you will see when accessing /sybaselog depends on the order in which the devices were mounted.

Regardless. your asssumption is (almost)correct. unmount BOTH devices from sybaselog, then create a new mountpoint (or select an existing) for one of them, finally, remount as needed
