I have two in general dumb questions. First: Norton Ghost is of course a program not specifically designed for Linux. However, it SEES my Linux partitions. Could I use it to ghost them? I'm a little unclear on how it works in general (my husband and I had a b$tch of a time with it on Win2k, even. Sheesh).
Second, say in the future I wanted to update to SuSE 9point whatever from SuSE 8.2. Say I wanted to own the CDs. Is there a way I could install a later version of the same distro of Linux over my earlier distro without losing all my files and such? I am trying to remember if I saw this option on my install of SuSE originally, but I don't recall.
Is there a way I could install Redhat over SuSE and keep my files, or would I have to do a backup (I'm assuming not and that I'd have to do a backup in this case)
And yes, I know, backups are GOOD.

Not terribly pressing questions, just curious more than anything
