Please give us more information concerning your dual booting problem ?

On which hard drives and on which partitions are WindowsXP and Linux installed ?

Which boot loader are you using ?
(GRUB, Lilo, WindowsXP loader, etc)

And so on...

And is this WRT your VMWare setup? Are you wanting to instead install Linux into it's own partition without the use of VMWare, or is this within the VMWare environment? I just responded to your other post, so I was curious on what this one is referring to?

Hi Forsaken

It's a common request - you'll need to post more information - how many hard drives - which Linux distro - do you want a separate data partition that both OS's can access - do you want to use NTFS for XP or stick with the old FAT32
