dual winow managers?
Hi all. I currently use fluxbox as my window manager. I am going to be installing gnome so that I can use galleon, and since it would be taking up all that space on my disk, I figured that i might as well check it out. I start my x session with startx. My home xinitrc has this:
exec gkrellm -w & exec fluxbox # exec startkde (not in use) My question is: How can i have the have startx use either fluxbox or gnome? Also, is there a way that i can install only the library files from gnome which galeon uses? (or is that another dumb question) (if yes, sorry. I am a stupid stupid man) thanks for the help. |
sdx http://tucows.sympatico.ca/linux/sys...ew/60940.shtml is a very handy perl script, no need to edit by hand .xinitrc - let the script do it
P.S. You can install galeon w/o gnome but you need most of the libs GNOME offers, so it is easier to install GNOME in this case. |
