Dual screen with 2 tnt2 pci and 2 Dell 1907FPt monitors


I have been trying all morning for this to work and im not getting anywhere. I tried with sample configs then tweaking them and sometimes i get 1 screen or the other to work but not both. So I need help hehe.
Here are the details:

As for my xorg.conf it doesnt exsist anymore because I was about to jump out the window. So I deleted it and started gdm and it loads up fine on 1 screen only

Im running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS

P.S. im not cheap hehe this is my pc at work so I cant go out and buy a bigger card and my company is to cheap to buy me one because i know with dual head this is so much more simple to setup then with 2 old piece of s...

Can you post the contents of /var/log/Xorg.0.log right after attempting to start with the two monitors attached? (note that the contents of that log is regenerated each time you start X).

The problem is probably here:

yes they are identical. the funny thing is when i use the config i provided, xorg will open on my right screen. if I delete the xorg.conf file and restart gdm then it loads on the left screen.

Hardware wise its 2 nvidia tnt2 16mb
and the screens are dells 1907FPt

Just removed the "Screen <n>" lines. If that doesn't work, try to leave screen 0 in the first section and removing screen 1 in the second.
