Dual head under fedora ...

hey guys ... im trying to enable the spanning desktops under fedora.

Im using a advent 7003 laptop (s3 pro savage) lcd screen for my main display and my CRT monitor for the secound output.

I can select the hardware and how i want to use dual head but when i restart X both screens are the same.
When i go to the display configuration it says "Required X extension not available".

Any help would be great as iv tried google and not found anything.

Running Fedora Core 1 under kde kernel 2.4 advent 7003.

cheerz !

Have you installed the drivers for the graphics chipset?

If not, have a look here:

It says they're for RedHat 7.2-8, but they may well work for Fedora too.
