Dual change standard

My friend installed RH to me years ago. It crashed and today the mouse/pointer acts strangely. So I have both RH and windows and would like to change the standard/automatic booting to windows again.

I suppose I need to change config for Lilo and Grub. The only information I find is installation instructions. I suppose I just need to change a line and run som program, reboot....

Very grateful for all your help.

why not ask us help for your hardware problems so you can continue running RH? :) im sure its not too difficult of a fix.

anyways.. ya youll have to edit the config file for the bootloader, then run the install command for it again, as you thought.. its pretty easy. the config file is most likely in /etc/... however, are you using grub or lilo? thats the starting point.

If you're running Grub, all you have to do is change the line that says "default ###" to whichever boot option you wish to be the default. The Grub config file is, by default, is /boot/grub/menu.lst
