dumb answer....

the same way you did linux after windows.

If mandrake doesn't let you add more partitions to boot up you may have to add it into the /etc/lilo.conf(if you boot up into a black screen with white text) or /boot/grub/grub.conf(if you boot up into a screen with some background graphics)

got that the wrong way round

i have mandrake 9 and xp and want to add RedHat 8.

i tried earlier but deleted the mandrake / partition by accident

...embarassed mumblings......

do i ...

a) not install the redhat boot loader and add redhat to the existing mandrake/lilo conf???

b) let redhat install bootloader and point it to mandrake and xp ?

and most of all...

do i need to give redhat a boot partition or just swap and / ???

many thanks in advance
