Dual Booting Problem
 

Hi,
I have installed Mandrake 8 on hdb5 with WindowsME on the Primary partition on the first hard disk.
I am using Bootmagic to dual boot and all seems to be working fine until I return to boot Windows after Linux only to find that it hangs up and needs to be reset a few times before it will run Windows again.
Linux has my Windows partition mounted could this be a possible source of the problem

Nope, it shouldn't be any problem with Linux having your Windows mounted. I am not familiar with Bootmagic, but it seems to me the problem would reside there.
