Dual Booting and WINE, gaming and registry.

I've tried out WINE and I'm generally impressed...

However, I had to reinstall the game through WINE to the "virtual C:\" drive, and its own virtual registry.

If I have a dual boot set up, is there any way I can link debian's WINE to my XP's registry? I could start the .exe but the game will prevent me from doing so from its copy protection.

Is there any way to do this, or am I forced to have two installs of the game?

It's best to keep them separate. WINE does not always play well with the Real Windows registry.
