Dual Boot Windows/Fedora On a Dell Problems
Two seperate harddrives....
1) Master - 200 GB with Linux installed on a 40GB Partition and 160 GB partition of free space 2) Slave - 60 GB with Windows installed Using GRUB to dual boot... works well and can get me into Linux (Fedora 1) no problem. When I choose windows however, it sends me to a Dell Hardware Diagnostic tests... even passing the tests I can't get into windows. Anyone have any advice? |
This is more like a workaround, not a fix, but if you can get inside linux, install smart boot manager. It will build a boot floppy that is, very likely, able to boot your windows.
And post here your menu.lst from grub, so we can have a look at your configs. http://btmgr.sourceforge.net/3.7/ |
