Question Dual Boot Win2K & RedHat 7.1

I just wanted to check with y'all before I go and format my computer to see if the info. I found on-line is correct. I'm planning on making my Win2K machine dual boot with RedHat 7.1; I've already got Win2K installed, now from what I've read all I have to do is install RedHat on a differnt partition, load LILO on the first partition, not the MBR. Make a few edits to the LILO conf file and edit the boot.ini file in Win2K and that's it correct? So what actually happens is Win2K's boot loader loads first, then when I select Linux it starts up LILO on the other partition, correct? Please let me know if I've got this right as I do not wish to hose up my system for the weekend, there's some Wolfenstein to be played!! Thanks in Advance...

almost

that sounds about right from almost everything i've read. but one thing, i advise AGAINST playing games on Win2k. It ain't pretty. most games now-a-days need to access the hardware on your sytem directly, Win2k doesn't allow that, so if you get into a part where there is a lot of movemnt and action. the frame rates go way down and it gets choppy.

Great, thanks for the reply; but I think I'll stick with Win2K for gaming... With the new nVidia drivers I clock better frame rates than Win98SE... Thanks Again!!
