Dual boot Win XP and Mandrake 9.1

How do I set up a dual booting system running Windows XP and Mandrake 9.1?

I tried it a year ago using Windows XP and Redhat 7.1, resulting in no boot at all and reinstalling Win XP...

I have 3 disks:
disk 1: c: and d: - 120gb
disk 2: e: - 80gb
disk 3: want mandrake here. - 20gb

I also want mandrake to have access to e: (ntfs). So that i can work with files from e: with both linux and windows.

My system is already running windows xp now, and mandrake 9.0.
But my method of "dualbooting" is to connect and unplug harddisks inside my computer. So what i want is to have the option of choosing witch OS I want to run from GRUB or something.

If someone decides to answer i prefer that you explain it step by step =)

just install the mandrake and go to advanced boot options and add xp in it. it didnt work for me but others said it worked... i think i installed it on the mbr partition and you have to install it in the first one.

i just use a floppy boot disk for it.. make sure you get one of those.

also.. there are many boot managers that are pretty cool but you have to download it and go into dos mode then copy it on floppy drive to install and i cant get my stupid ass into dos. lmfao
