Dual boot will not boot
I had w7 and fedora on my laptops HD and wanted to install Mint 17.
Obviously I have screwed something while messing the partitions. Neither win nor linux boots. Laptop boots directly to grub rescue command prompt. All I want to do is get back into windows. There is nothing on the fedora install. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

If you want rid of fedora, you need to get in one last time as windows fdisk will not remove non windows partitions.
We have to get you into some system to fix this. What do you want to have there medium term? where do things get stuck now, and what messages do they give? |
If you have a Win7 rescue disk, boot from that and repair the Windows install. This should write a new MBR and then you can install whatever...
