Dual Boot Vista and Ubuntu
Ok, I have gotten back to having the time to try this again.
Originally,
1 320 WD HDD
xp install
Had gotten two 160s and RAID 0 and put xp on them and then tried using the 320 for ubuntu...no dice. Installed it with Ubuntu on the big drive first, with grub loaded and then got XP booted up and it instantly gives me the BSOD with an error reading disc. unplugged the 320 and xp boots right up...did some fiddling with grub/HDDs/HDD slot placement and talked to my uncle who got me into linux...and nothing we did worked. That was about 3 months ago. So, I'm back to try it again.
Can someone please walk me through what I'm doing wrong here?
I bought vista home basic for kicks back when I built the PC, hated it, uninstalled it put XP on it then tried the dual boot. Just gonna stick with it til 7 comes out.
Thanks again.
