dual boot system on 2 hard drives, wont load windows
I just put in a 2nd harddrive in with win Xp on my computer.
on the 1st harddrive I installed RedHat 9. when I installed RH 9 I installed grub, and set win Xp to default OS.
well when I start my comp and try to load into windows the screen just says:
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1
when I go into my bios and change which drive is loaded first to the 2nd one with XP, XP loads fine, just not when i try to from grub.
what do I do??

well, i did it with lilo, I don't remember how.
but when u have lilo, and not grub, you can set activate a drive #lilo activate /dev/hdblabla (I think), and then something with lilo.conf i suppose, I don't remember many things, as I did it a long time ago. and now I installed freebsd, and messed up the thing.
so good luck
its easy I suppose
just search info about lilo
c yaaaaa

en el grub.conf you have to add this part
type exactly this:
title windows
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
rootnoverify (hd1 , 0)
chainloader +1
tha´s it..watch out with the hd´s put your owns...it worked for me
