dual boot suse 7.2

I installed suse 7.2 on a separate harddrive from Win 98 and everything worked fine, the trouble started when I upgraded windows 98 to win xp, I can't seem to boot into linux now.

I orignally booted up linux via a boot disk, that doesn't seem to work now, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reinstall LILO and or activate the linux boot disk to with win xp?

SuSE probably has a "rescue" system on it's install CDROM. Plop that in, and you can re-install LILO that way, or it may give you an option to mount your hd. If you can, then you can run /sbin/lilo from the mounted HD.

I assume you have got the boxed 7.2 set ? This contains
the reference manual; page 33-35 for creating basic
boot disks page 299-303 everything about the rescue
system. If you don't have it, maybe there is an online
version, else try the above suggestions and ask for
details if you don't succeed.
Good luck
