Dual boot on USB drive

Alright, this is something I couldn't find on the net(although I may not have looked hard enough)...

I'm trying to set my system up to dual-boot with XP on the main drive(inside of my PC) and Fedora Core 5 on a USB hard drive.

I'm not exactly sure if this is possible... I would love to go with an internal hard drive, but my system doesn't have space for another(cheap cheap cheap)...

So yeah, is this possible? If so... could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial, or give me a how-to? I would appreciate it very much.

I did search the Wiki @ Fedora Project, but it didn't reference any USB Hard Drives, it didn't even specify if it was possible or not...

I would just re-partition my main drive, but I don't have a backup of any of the data, and I would rather not take that chance. Thanks guys.

Just a guess, if you have say damn small linux with grub say,
see for example "GRUB tips and tricks"

then it is a question of bios booting from usb
then you would have grub offering to boot dsl or $Zindows
with a grub entry of the like

# Zindowstitle
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

Just a guess as I have not tried. Let us know how this goes
