Dual Boot IDE and Sata hard drive

Hello people.

This is my current configuration.

IDE master windows XP pro Suse 10.3 retail version I have handbook and both DVD's.

Sata master Open suse installed.

When I installed Suse 10.3 I disconnected the IDE hard drive I just wanted to do a clean install without XP messing it up.

I want Suse to "see" XP so I can move some Open office documents over to Suse so I can migrate over to linux on a full time basis.

This is what I can do.

I picked boot options from BIOS and got Suse up and running if not it just boots to XP

I can go to Yast Partioner and see the xp drive

/dev/sda 74.5 Type STA30011A

/dev/sda1 74.5 Type HPFS/NTFS

I go into bootloader and it dose not see XP
I go into sysinfo and it dose not see XP

My question is what do I do in partinoner to get this up and running?
When I click in the NFS tab is it ask for NFS server and mount point.

Thanks in advance

Sam

So you have 2 SATA hard drive.
/dev/sda has Suse and /dev/sdb has windows XP.
If that is correct, do that :
Code:
mkdir /mnt/windows
mount /deb/sdb1 /mnt/windows
Then you will be able to "see" windows files in /mnt/windows directory.
