please choose a suitable forum for your questions, the forum you chose is clearly called "LinuxQuestions.org Member Success Stories" which this obviously isn't.

su (Then enter your root password)
mkdir /mnt/winxp
mount -t fat32 /dev/hda1 /mnt/winxp

Should work get the command working that tangle posted.

Tangles post was an example, of the command

Also /dev/hda1 may not be the right partition, but for windows it usually is.

And if you want to mount your FAT32 XP partition automatically on boot up - put an entry at the bottom of your /etc/fstab file on a new line - (just substitute in your Partition and Mount point in place of my example ones)

/dev/hda1 /mnt/winxp vfat defaults,umask=000 0 0
