dual-boot?
I'm still a rather large newbie to Linux, I've messed around with several Linux distributions, and I like Slackware 9.1. Before I partition my Hard Drive (once I figure that out, that is), what is Dual-Boot? Does that mean that both OSs (Slackware/WinXP) will boot at the same time? If so, how can I switch between the two? I've only been messing around with the Dists in VMware and Live Discs, and I just want to be sure of everything before I move further.
Any help would be thanked for greatly. Cheers, -Chris |
No it means you can boot either os 1 at a time using a bootloader to select which one you want to use.
