DSL connection error

Hello friends
I am a new user in linux . Any how I could connect Internet in linux by setup a DSL pppoe connection. It was working fine . but all of sudden when i try to connect the this connection, the user name and password window pop up . i saw the system log it says that userid and password error.strange !!!!!
i used the same user name and password in windows 7. it worked fine , there is no problem any way.

kindly help me ....

My Dsl is just a regular ethernet connection which is set as dhcp automatic.
