DSL boot question
ok i want to get dsl (damn small) working on an older toshiba laptop. if i boot it in failsafe mode, it starts up. if i boot it in lowram mode, it starts up. if i boot normally, it freezes right after it displays my processor information. i cannot figure out how to get dsl to load with usb support. i almost want to load it in failsafe mode but include usb. ideas?

The freeze-up might not happen if you use the "no acpi" boot switch. Look in the same place where you found the "lowram" switch. Old laptops don't support ACPI. If that does not work come back and we can find another fix. How mauch RAM does this lappie have, and what speed is the processor?
