it all depends, will their modem connect via to a ehternet card or to a usb port?
if it connect to a usb, its gonna be harder to configure or it won't work at all compared to connecting via ethernet.

then it shouldn't be any problem getting that to work. what type of card? model? most 3com cards work, linksys work and so on.... might want to check out the list at www.linuxdoc.org

the deal with telocity is, you have to buy your own ethernet card (10/100), they just provide the modem. can u suggest me some ethernet cards?

i have no problems with the linksys 100tnx, but i highly recommend 3com cards. they usually dont have any problems with working under linux.
