drivers for supraexpress 336i pnp

I've installed SuSE 8.2 personal onto an old PC, but it wont recognise the modem, a Supraexpress 336i pnp. No other problems with the installation. Can I download drivers, or is there some other way to get around this

Go to http://www.linmodems.org and download + run scanmodem utility. This will give you information about the chipset you have on your modem. Knowing the name of modem is not sufficient when you want to compile drivers for your modem. This will give you all the information about your modem, then you can go ahead and download the appropriate drivers.
Good Luck
