Drivers for Rehhat Linux

I am not getting drivers for Red Hat Linux 5 to make audion enabled.Can anyone help me?Please.Thanks in advance.

Hi, what does the "alsaconf" command do when you run it in a terminal? Does alsamixer see an audio device and has channels to configure (if it does, unmute using m)?
A bit more info about your hardware would help, I suggest lspci for that.

Do you mean Red Hat 5(RH5) or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL5)? If you mean RHEL5 run the updates to RHEL5.3, there was a lot of hardware support added between 5.0 and 5.3. Contact RH, that is what your subscription pays for. If you meant RH5, support for it was dropped years ago (switch to a more current version).
